Customer acquisition costs

Hi 

I separated my sales & marketing team salaries from the rest of the sales and marketing costs. This is useful for headcount expansion assumptions.  However, I would like to include the salaries in my CAC calculations.  However, the CAC calculation doesnt allow me to include it (or at least there is a warning of corruption).  I tried to add a new category which didnt work. Is there a way to modify the CAC calculation inputs without corrupting the spreadsheet?

Hi Cornell.  You should be able to:

  1. expand the linkedin expenses at the top,
  2. right-click to add a new link in,
  3. select the Income Statement Salaries & Wages (make a negative -link(2); and
  4. then drag and drop this in via the precedent links pane.

For the first issue, have a look through the main help: https://www.modano.com/resources/user_guide/automation/using_modules/lin...

For the second point, the aim here is to bring in all lines, and then enter a percentage against those that apply. Notwithstanding, the precedent take pane will allow you to select individual categories, if you only want to include a few select lines.
