Hi team,
I created 10 scenarios on my model using scenario manager and scenario modules, and found the errors below from row No. 302 to 307 after I further added 6 new scenarios.
Of note, I don't put any variable scenario on debt and interest-on-cash modules. And when I change the formular to see the results of interest expenses (instead of net interest expenses i.e. interest on cash - interest expenses), the table worked again. Some other tables have the same issue such as closing cash balance, net profit after tax, etc.
Anyone else had this problem before? Thank you in advance!
Hi Hoang,
It’s hard to understand what’s happening based only on that image. Does the formula in cell J302 contain an error reference or is the formula valid but evaluating to an error?
And does your model contain errors when you set the active scenario to Scenario 11?
Michael
Hi Hoang,
Thanks for the update, great to see you found the culprit.
It's great that you've figured out how to extend the foundational scenario analysis modules, this is exactly what they were designed for.
